I was invited to the Venture Creation and Management Seminar led by Prof. Daniel M. Shin, where I had the opportunity to discuss the Nemo application for about an hour. Prof. Daniel M. Shin has extensive experience in management and executive roles at multinational corporations such as MCM and Hanwha Group and is also a venture investor. It was a productive session with the professor and various participants who attended the seminar, exchanging valuable insights and ideas. In particular, the discussions on recent trends in similar services like Evernote and Notion, as well as the emergence of ChatGPT and how note-taking apps are responding to it, were topics that we found particularly important to consider moving forward.

ChatGPT has been around for less than a month, yet its rapid user growth indicates the significant impact it is poised to have on society. We are actively utilizing ChatGPT 3.5 for coding and debugging tasks. While its current capabilities are still developing, we anticipate that as AI continues to advance, highly useful APIs for coding, writing, document summarization, and more will emerge.
Attached are the presentation materials used during this seminar. Nemo's primary functionality is text-scanning, which requires the use of a camera. It is being developed using Google’s OCR API. Consequently, the service will be distributed as a mobile app rather than a web application. You can expect its release in January.
