Introduction
My name is Dongin Jung and I am an undergraduate student majoring in physics. Currently, I work on computational materials modeling using first-principles approaches in Prof. Anton Van der Ven's group.
Previously, I conducted research that introduced reinforcement learning to increase atom trapping times using optical tweezers. Before engaging in research, I operated a startup that developed software to digitize text and reorganize it for searchable accessibility.
I am interested in research related to computational design that applies machine learning to rapidly and automatically explore and apply materials. However, I am also open to various experiments or research employing different approaches in materials engineering.
Ultimately, I am fascinated by the powerful synergy that arises when industry and technology converge, shaping a promising future.
